era

Era was a book launch I conceived and curated from the ground up — the debut of my first published photography book, staged at my parents' surf shop. I brought together a Hawaiian chef and a natural wine sommelier for the evening and worked alongside the chef, foraging ingredients in the Hawaiian rainforest, then helping cook and bake everything served. The night was rooted entirely in Hawaii — the food, the wine, the space. A gallery wall lets friends and family purchase the book and prints directly.

A woman standing in front of a wall with framed photographs, smiling and gesturing with her arms out. The photographs on the wall depict various scenes including beach, nature, and urban landscapes. The woman is wearing a black off-shoulder dress and a colorful necklace, and some small candles are lined up at the base of the wall.
